J.M. INTERACTIVE PAINTING EXPERIENCE

The Joan Miró Interactive Painting Experience is an immersive digital artwork developed in TouchDesigner, inspired by the bold colors and geometric forms of Joan Miró. This interactive, audio-reactive application allows users to create abstract compositions using a dynamic palette of six colors—red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white—and eight distinct geometric brushes. Every stroke responds to sound, making the experience both visually and sonically engaging. With intuitive controls, users can adjust brush sizes, explore different tools, save their creations, and access an inspiration gallery to learn more about Miró’s style. Powered by over 20 custom Python scripts, this project brings interactivity to life through real-time responsiveness and creative expression.
This project has been a very fun way to put my scripting knloedge to the test while bringing my cultural heritage from home.
